How to submit your film

Filmmakers submit to us around 750 films and projects each year of which we can only select 25!
You understand that we cannot watch everything that is proposed to us.

We also do get numerous proposals and completed documentaries that do not really fit in what we are doing. It is therefore important that you read the following carefully!

1. CHECK OUR ACQUISITION CRITERA and if you think your film is suitable.

2. E-MAIL SYNOPSIS
Please email a synopsis first, if possible with some background materials and filmmaker information. What we also like to know is who is already part of this ( broadcasters, financiers) who has expressed interest and to which festivals has the film been submitted/ accepted. Please send the synopsis to jan@filmstransit.com and diana@filmstransit.com at the same time.

3. SEND THE FILM IF WE REQUEST IT
One of us will get back to you within 48 hrs with a response, if positive we invite you to send us a DVD or even better, and to be ecologically responsible, if you have the possibility to upload the film to an FTP site, we can download it or see it on-line.

AT WHAT STAGE DO WE BEGIN WORKING WITH FILMS?
We pick up films for representation at all stages, but the vast majority are either finished films or those at least at the rough cut or fine cut stage. We prefer to see films before they are picture locked when possible.
